Bovingdon Gardeners serves as the public face of the Bovingdon & District Horticultural Society, a local society founded in 1927.

We are committed to fostering an inclusive environment for all plant lovers, whether you are cultivating a few pots indoors, managing a balcony display, or tending to a full garden or allotment. While our roots remain in Bovingdon, we are delighted to welcome members from all neighboring towns and villages.

Our annual program centers on three hallmark shows where participants exhibit homegrown produce and flowers alongside diverse categories like handicrafts, baking, photography, and art. The society offers much more than competition; members participate in curated garden tours, listen to engaging guest speakers, visit our famous Plant Sale, and enjoy varied social gatherings. No matter your level of expertise, you will find inspiration and friendship within our group.
